The North Penn Cheerleaders have a full schedule of competitions and games that they work diligently for each week. Besides cheerleading many of the girls are involved with gymnastics to benefit the cheer squad at North Penn.
The Varsity and J.V squad will be doing some community service on October 12 at the Montgomery Township Autumn Festival. Their first competition is November 9 at Easton High School. Both squads will be attending. (They also might be going to a competition in December and January as well as Suburban One in February.) I will keep you posted on those competitions.
The girls have also started this year making signs and posters for other sports teams that they do not cheer for. Varsity has made signs for the girls Volleyball team and Field Hockey. They have also made signs for the Golf team as well. They are trying to promote school spirit.
The varsity team has been working extremely hard on their competition routine as well as promoting school spirit and giving back to the community as well.
