This picture came from the Lansdale Historical Society

A number of people have email and asked questions about what the football players are holding in the pictures from 1894, 1899 & 1905. We have found out that they are Nose-Guards. In this picture the football two players in the front are holding on to there Nose Guards, one person in the front row, the player all the way on the left has is Nose-Guard on his knee.
