On Friday night, not even rain could stop the Knights in their 33-21 win over the Pennsbury Falcons. While the Knights got off to a slow start, Pennsbury jumped all over the opportunity to throw the ball against the Knights secondary. The Falcons scored all of their points in the first half and two of their touchdowns were on passes, one went for 35 yards and the other went for 86 yards. But that's the last time the Knights would allow its defense to get beat like that and kept the Falcons scoreless in the second half. The Knights' offense used its punishing running attack to wear down the Falcons' defense. Kevin Akins had 154 yards on the ground and Jim Casertano had 2 touchdowns before leaving the game with a pulled hamstring. After a solid drive in the third quarter the Knights used a little misdirection to get Jim Laky into the endzone for a 19 yard touchdown making the score 27-21. Then again in the fourth quarter Pat McCourt sealed the victory with a one yard touchdown making the score 33-21. Then Deanco Oliver's fourth quarter interception put to rest the hopes of a Pennsbury comeback. I would like to thank the Knights, Coach Beck, and the rest of the coaching staff and organization for what they did on Friday night. By Zach Tillger Pre-Game Write-up On Friday, the Knights will take on the Pennsbury Falcons in a must win game. If the Knights lose they also lose their playoff chances. The Knights are currently 6-14 overall against the Falcons. The Knights have won the last 5 times they have played Pennsbury. Pennsbury has a good team, which was evident in their upset, win against Pennridge earlier in the season. The Knights will have to beable to control the offensive line to win Friday night. Pennsbury will come out hard, tough, and
will not roll over. But the Knights have been practicing hard all
week and appear to be ready for another big game that will decide
